This document is not a final legal opinion: it must be reviewed by a legal professional before publication, in particular the liability limitation clauses and the health warning.
This is a translation of our French-language terms of use ("Conditions générales d'utilisation"), which is the legally binding version. These Terms are governed by French law regardless of the language version you read (see §13). In case of discrepancy between the two versions, the French version prevails.
These terms of use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the SnapOut mobile app ("the app"), published by MM Digital ("we", "the publisher" — see the legal notice).
By installing or using the app, you accept these Terms without reservation.
SnapOut is an alarm app that requires completing a physical or cognitive mission to turn off the alarm (for example: push-ups, squats, mental math, a photo to validate, timed reading). The goal is to force an effective wake-up, by making it impossible to stop the alarm without genuine engagement from the user.
The exact workings of the anti-cheat mechanism, its guarantees and its limits, are described in §7.
The app is usable from installation with an anonymous account, with no account creation or identifier required. Your data is then stored only on your device.
You may, at your own initiative, sign in with Sign in with Apple to sync your data across devices. Details on how your data is processed are described in our privacy policy.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract, or the authorization of a parent or legal guardian if you are a minor.
Without a subscription, the app remains usable: the alarm works, with the "Mental math", “Tap” and “Shake the phoe” mission as the only mission available.
